HER’S Summer Program

HER’S is a new FREE BGC Charlottetown program centered around supporting Young Women and Gender-Diverse Youth in grades 7–12.

Tues/Wed/Thurs July 2th – Aug 22th 2025 1:00PM – 4:00PM at 40 Enman Crescent in Charlottetown! Snacks will also be provided!
Participants in this program will have the opportunity to:
Develop practical life skills such as resume writing, communication, and self-advocacy
– Learn about gender-inclusive experiences and available community resources
Build connections with peers and create a supportive network outside of school
Engage in creative and outdoor exploration to promote personal growth

Enjoy screen free time and build confidence

Youth/Teen Evening Program:

BGC Charlottetown offers Evening Programs throughout the academic year and is catered for youth between 12 and 16!

This youth evening program is 6-8PM Monday and Wednesday evenings at our center.

Monday is Volunteering and Leadership and Wednesday is a relaxed program.

 

This relaxed program offers participants a hot supper, and the opportunity to hangout, socialize, or enjoy the variety of program supplies we have at our disposal.

 

Options include:

-Quality art supplies

-Video games

-Sports equipment (volleyball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, dodgeball, floor hockey)

-Bracelet making

Lunch Program

We offer a drop in lunch program at our center and selected local schools throughout the academic year.

 


Youth/Teen Programs at the Charlottetown Public Library

Tuesdays & Thursdays: 2-6PM. Our library programs are cooking/baking on Tuesdays and Volunteering and Leadership on Thursdays throughout the academic year.
