A Look Back at Our 2024 Event

The 2024 Trucks for Kids fundraiser, held on Saturday, October 5th at the Charlottetown Event Grounds, was a huge success—welcoming over 1,500 attendees and raising more than $10,000 in support of BGC Charlottetown. This first-time partnership with the City of Charlottetown featured over 25 vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, and construction equipment, along with bouncy castles and slides, live DJ music, a BBQ, and a station where kids could help paint a City snowplow. Generous support came from sponsors like Birch Hill Construction, Midland, Brighton Construction Inc., and several others. In-kind contributions from the Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club, ADL, and the City helped bring the event to life, providing hundreds of hot dogs, drinks, and volunteers to make the day memorable for all.
