Make your own Sushi & Outside Play – April 27, 2017

“My name is Jaden MacDonald, I am 13 years old. My review of tonight is that it was really amazing. We were mostly outside because we really wanted to be. I planned to have sushi, but didn’t, since there was vinegar in the rice. I stayed until 9 because I haven’t had the chance in a long time, because it is not a school night. I really love the boys and girls club. I haven’t been here since March because I had a broken arm. I had to get caught up on what was going on. Luckily I am all caught up now! It was easier than catching up on my school work! Since I didn’t like the sushi, Jenna made me spaghetti instead! In conclusion, this was probably one of my best nights at the boys and girls club.”

I had fun and I enjoy coming to the boys and girls club. We all play fair and are thoughtful to eachother. We can all enjoy being safe, and being in an environment that we feel safe when we are at the boys and girls club. Thank you for having us tonight on April 6th 2017. Thanks for everything tonight!”

Board Games and Baked Potatoes – February 21, 2017

“Hi my name is Skylar, I’m 13. I come to boys and girls club frequently and each time it was so much fun today. We ate baked potatoes and played board games. I especially love when we get to stay until nine. Playing the Wii can get pretty competitive but it’s also really fun, and the food is amazing. The best part is laughing with your friends. I’m glad I had the opportunity to come to the boys and girls club every Tuesday and Thursday. My opinion on what we did today would be it was really fun and I’d rather be here then at home.”

DIY Bath Bombs – February 7, 2017

“Tonight all of us at the teen drop-in. Tonight we had taco things and we made bath-bombs this was probably the best teen drop-in for me yet!! One highlight on the night was the fact if we had a rough day, both of the chaperones will listen if you need to talk at all. The second highlight of the night was the fun of making the bath-bombs. To be honest making the bath-bombs was the bomb. Yeah sorry bad pun but that’s what I do, so all in all this night was EPIC!!!! Very happy that I came tonight.”
